Designed by Jesper Kromann-Andersen and built in A-Core fibreglass, the Play MV is the mid-range volume option in the Arrow Play family, sized for paddlers in the 150 to 225 lb range. The shallow-arched hull with significant bow rocker keeps the bow from diving on large wave faces, and the rounded mid-ship profile lets the boat transition fluidly from edge to edge in rough water. Hard chines give it predictable secondary stability and confident edging when you're pushing the boat in breaking seas or working on your bracing. The low profile deck catches minimal wind, which helps hold course on open crossings without constantly fighting weathercocking. When conditions invite it, the rockered bow makes playing in a following sea a genuine highlight.

A-Core construction delivers the durability this kind of all-conditions paddling demands. Sandwich deck reinforcement, a protected keel, and aramid seam taping inside and out give the Play MV the structural integrity to handle rough landings and rocky coastlines without fuss. Outfitting is European in philosophy: purposeful and precise rather than plush. The keyhole cockpit runs 31.5" in length, so taller paddlers may need to slide in straight-legged, but once seated the contour backband and multi-adjustable thigh braces set up solid contact points for rolling and bracing. Four Kayak Sport VCP-style hatches including a mini foredeck pod handle everything from day trip essentials to overnight gear.
